Today I visited the Adyapith and Dakshineswar temples on the bank of the river Ganges and immersed myself into spirituality. It is amazing how at these times of war, hatred and cruelty, simple principles are still upheld there. Sample these:
- No religion is greater than humanity.
- Every religion be it Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism etc are basically ways to get close to The Divine.
- No religion is small. Each has its own specialities. Each is great in individual ways. Tolerance for everyone is the order of the day.
- Love is the choicest blessing in the world. Once you know to love mankind, once you learn to see Him in all forms of life, there is no way you can hate anyone.
